One of Winston-Salem’s most popular greenways is the Muddy Creek Greenway. It’s a 2.9-mile asphalt trail on the western edge of the city and is bordered by agricultural fields, soccer fields and a horse pasture. It’s a favorite for bicyclists.
Carolina Environmental Contracting (CEC) was hired to improve Muddy Creek Greenway access by installing a 100-foot truss pedestrian bridge, rebuilding a trailhead and clearing and grading adjacent land for a parking lot.
Critical to the task was proper erosion control and proper fencing and traffic control.
The professional CEC team will complete the project in mid December 2017, on time and on budget.Share on Twitter Share on Facebook
