Lake Higgins and Lake Brandt are both integral parts of the city of Greensboro’s municipal reservoir system.  Lake Higgins is a 226-acre waterway that supplies clean water to the city while also being a valuable resource for recreation, fishing and birding opportunities within the city limits.  Lake Brandt, at 816 acres, is also a critical watershed for the city.
