From highways to taxiways and all roads in between….
If there was ever a hectic, busy and tightly-regulated environment it’d be a runway taxiway at an international airport. While planes are operating.
During a recent pavement rehabilitation project at the Piedmont Triad International Airport, Carolina Environmental Contracting (CEC) installed six-inch underdrain pipe adjacent to an active taxiway and tied the installations into the existing storm water infrastructure. The work took place in secured access areas of the airport and our entry requirements were met with flying colors.
Thompson Arthur Paving and Construction, of Greensboro NC, asked Carolina Environmental to partner with them toward the successful completion of this critical project. It is worth noting that Thompson Arthur has been constructing and paving roads in the Greensboro area since 1951. We understand that with that successful history they have a lot of choices for sub-contractors. So we appreciate all the more when the firm quickly chose CEC to work side by side with them on this recent PTIA airport project. We are proud of our relationship with Thompson Arthur and look forward to partnering again soon.
CEC understands the requirements of each project. We are committed to the highest standards of quality of the work, the contract time and the budget. Let us work with you on your next storm water drainage repair project. We will bring those commitments to your project!
