July 10, 2019 -- Responding to our expanding customer and project lists, and to ensure that we stay true to our committed levels of customer service and quality, we proudly announce the opening of new office in Greensboro.
Coupled with our existing Mount Airy headquarters, our new Greensboro office, located at 529 D College Road near the Piedmont Triad International Airport, keeps the Carolina Environmental Contracting team front and center in the central NC construction market and its robust municipal, highway, airport and commercial development projects.
“For several years we have found ourselves spending more and more time in transit from our Mount Airy offices to project sites in central and eastern North Carolina,” said CEC Founder and CEO Joanne Cheatham. “Our new Greensboro office and team allow us to devote more time to projects and customer service and less commuting back and forth.”
Cheatham said CEC continues to recruit associates who will be based in Greensboro. “We are excited to add laborers to our team with experienced operators and labors from the Greensboro and surrounding areas,” she said. “ As we successfully draw in new and qualified employees who are well matched to our backlog of work, we will also be better able to manage those crews in central NC due to the close proximity of management personnel at this new location.”
Additionally, CEC will continue to build on its strong relationship with the M/WBE program with the City of Greensboro. “Having been selected as their Contractor of the Year in 2018, we are excited to continue our partnership on projects within the city’s jurisdiction,” Cheatham said.
